Game System Recapping Service
I offer Recapping service (installing new capacitors) for many consoles.
I use high quality replacement capacitors appropriate for the system you are looking to have serviced.
This service is a "best effort" service. What this means is that if your system is non-functional it is possible that there are other issues than just the capacitors. The Recapping fee is non-refundable as we have no way of knowing if this will fully fix your issue until the work is completed, especially if the system is non functional already.
Game Gear systems in particular have a relatively high rate of non-repair by recapping alone. In the case a recap doesn't fix it, as long as it gets power and the audio works, we can replace the screen. I typically recommend a full service on these systems which includes a new shell, a new lcd display and USB-C Rechargeable lithium batteries along with the Recap ($179.99).
Service turnaround time varies on parts availability. You are responsible for cost of shipping to me, Return shipping is included (up to $10) USA only.
